- Don't bother on the details especially those cover in shadow
- Do blocking at the very first part of sketching
- Soundscape: What does the material sounds like, the wind sound, the birds?
- What sound experiences?

3. Steps on doing the tonal value:
A. Copy paster your house (create a layer)
B. Use the dark grey to apply shadow at the darkest region you want then gradually change to the lighter shde.
C. Then blend it by using lighter shade or changing opacity
D. Apply colour, what are the shadow colour for that particular part?
E. Add lighting, very very light yellow
F. Set a direction, and apply lighting according to it
G. Highlight smooth part, add texture, rough texture will be darker, smooth texture is lighter
- Do an exercise on finding out how different materials reflect light. Use a light torch or flashlight to test on different objects.
- Need to practice on tonal value

- focal point, build things around the focal point
- do not do too much and cover up the focal point
