Final project reveiw

It's been a hard process for this assignment, start from week 2/3, my laptop broke and couldn't practice my drawing skills well in Photoshop, I use another drawing software - Medibang because I couldn't download photoshop in my borrowed laptop. Then when I can use Photoshop, it always have view problem. Sometimes I couldn't see what I'm painting because some blockage will always pop up to block my view, which cause me to erase my painting multiple times until I get it right. 

So far, I couldn't finish completely for my interior drawing, I know it's not good enough. But at least I did my best. I quite like my exterior drawing, even though it can still be improved. I hope I get my perspective right for most of the parts. Perspective might be the biggest problem for my drawing throughout the whole time, I always get comments about my wrong perspective start from the beginning. 

For the exterior drawing, I want to create a shrine in winter and also in Edo period. I want to create the contrast between the cold environment and warm light from the building. It feels like a sense of light and hope in a dark period. For the interior, I separate the building into two spaces, one Is shrine for Samurai and one is a small tea house where guest can enjoy a cup of hot tea in winter. The house behind the shrine lived an old man who take care of the shrine and surroundings.
