Week 3: Lecture Review + Pilot Study

  

Lecture Class

In today's class, Dr. Aslina brief us on lesson plan with assignment brief, then we review lecture topic 1 & 2. We will need to read the topic ourselves then Dr. Aslina will review it in lecture class. The class end with a HCI quiz. 

Week 3 Tasks

In this week, we are supposed to do pilot study. According to the plan we set, we need to follow it conduct pilot study which help us to do user data collection better later. Pilot study helps us to understand the pros and cons of our research methods on user research. After conducting the pilot study, analyze the research method and improve it for the actual user research.

Tutorial Class

We do not have tutorial class this week, but we can always update Mr. Ron and Dr. Aslina our progress and ask for feedback. 

Reflection

After this week tasks, I have understood about user research method more, and I will need to make a plan soon to conduct pilot study and actual data collection. As I have my product ready in Melaka, I decided to conduct both data collection at site. This way, I can receive much more real and genuine data from all the real users. I am a little bit worried about the progress because I need to wait until I have the data then I can continue write it in my documentation. This might delay the progress a bit, but in the meantime, I will focus on company project as I still have an ongoing company project to complete.
